I have been meaning to post about our latest hiking trip for awhile now. But life has been a little hectic. A few weeks ago we visited Fort Mountain State Park. This park is located in north Georgia in Chatsworth, Georgia. It is a 2 hour drive from where we live. There is a $5 parking fee. Which isn't too bad. Day Trip To Noccalula Falls Park
I love taking a trip. Especially day trips. It is so much fun to just take a trip with my family. We recently took a day trip to Alabama a few weeks ago. We visit Noccalula Falls Park. It is located in Gadsden, Albama. It is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from where we live in Stone Mountain. Believe me it is well worth the drive. Entry is $6 per person over age of 12. 7 Great Georgia Walking Trails
The family and I haven't been doing any hiking up any mountains or visiting waterfalls lately. We eventually go back to it. But we have still been moving. We have switched back to walking some of the walking trails that Georgia has to offer. We are still trying to be active. A Family Hike Through Cloudland Canyon State Park
I say the same line every time I share a new hiking adventure that my family and I go on. This was the best hike EVER! But seriously right now our hike through Cloudland Canyon State Park is at the top of my list despite having to go down 600 steps and back up again. I don't think I will ever get used to steps. Hiking Through High Falls State Park
A couple of weekends ago my family and I visited High Falls State Park in Jackson, Georgia. This is the eighth waterfall we have visited. We took my cousin along for the hike. As you know we have been enjoying the outdoors a lot lately. This is not a very high waterfall but it is still a great site to see. When we went it was after it had been raining for a few days.
