La La Land Mommy: Tyler’s Performance At The Ryan Cameron Foundation Health Fair

This weekend was full of so much activity. Not only did we do Stone Mountain Christmas we got to watch Tyler perform with his school’s band at the Ryan Cameron Foundation Health Fair. Ryan Cameron woks at the radio station at V-103. They got to start off the Health Fair by marching into South DeKalb Mall where the event was being held. The goal of the Ryan Cameron Foundation is to encourage people mainly our youth to not only make healthier choices but to provide them the tools to become leaders. At the Ryan Cameron Foundation Health Fair there were so many activities for everyone of all ages. Some of the things that were there were:

Free screenings for cholesterol, diabetes, blood pressure, height & weight, dental, chiropractic, podiatry, & sports physicals.
Safe Driving areas for teens by State Farm
Fitness demonstrations
an expert panel
nutrition/mental health resources
A fun walk

There were some celebrities at the event Dr. Heavenly (Married To Medicine) and Case (Kind of telling my age here) were there.

The kids were so excited to participate in this especially when they got to see Ryan Cameron himself. They played a selection of songs like Whitney Houston’s I’m Every Woman, Knuck if you Buck by Crime Mobb, and Silento’s Watch Me. It was really fun to see the kids’ play and enjoy themselves. Then they made their way into the mall. They had people coming out of shops to see them and it was just so cool to see and know that Tyler was one of the people that they were watching. I was so beyond proud of him cause he has come a long way since he first started in band last year. He is growing up right before my eyes. It was just amazing to watch. I couldn’t end my day without getting a picture with Mr. Ryan Cameron. I was so happy that he was willing to take a picture with me. He is really an awesome guy.
