The Georgia Renaissance Festival
One of the biggest events is returning soon. It’s the Georgia Renaissance Festival. This event runs from April 16th to June 6th. This is an event for the whole family. There is something for everyone to do. It is a 32 acre recreation of a 16th Century English Village that is made up of hundreds of costumed characters. The event will include 10 stages of circus style entertainment, you will be able to shop in over 130 artisan shoppes, there will be great food, games and rides for kids of all ages, and there will also be horseback riding Jousting Knights. People who come to the event are invited to dress up in costume as well. Doesn’t all of this sound like a blast! I believe this is a great way to spend time with your loved ones. My kids and I had a great time on our first visit to the Renaissance festival last year. I’m sure they’ll want to go back this year, hopefully my husband will be able to come with us this time.
