This weekend the family and I had a pretty light weekend. We ran some errands nothing too big. Unfortunately we couldn’t go to any parks because of the rain but we still had a great time spending time with each other. One thing I did get to do was attend a great blogger event at Olivia’s Dollhouse Tearoom with Princess S while Private J and The Husband hung out together.
I had been looking forward to this event since I found out about it a few weeks ago from Joyce Brewer who owns the blog Mommy Talk Show . I was excited for two reasons 1. I had never been to a place like this before and 2. I got a chance to meet some more bloggers face to face. I also was able to meet their adorable daughters. I mean I was in pretty princess overload these little girls were so beautiful.
When we first got there I immediately noticed the décor. I thought that it was very inviting and encouraged the young ladies and their parents to relax. I loved the wallpaper and the placement of the dolls in the area. I really liked it. I definitely thought it was very pretty.
The next thing I noticed was the costumes they had for the young ladies to dress into. Unfortunately Princess S is not into dressing up so I couldn’t talk her into trying on a dress or anything but I did get her to try on a boa. In some of the pictures you can see some of the costumes behind her. They also have a mirror so that the girls can see how fabulous they look in their costumes or in the young mans case in the corner how handsome they are. Little girls are also able to get their hair spruced up and their nails painted. Many of the little girls got a kick out of this. I thought that it was so cute.
At the event we got to meet Princess Jasmine and Cinderella. Princess S’s face lit up when she saw them. There is also a spot where the little princesses can strike a pose. Many of the little girls got a kick out of this too. They seemed to have so much fun being little models. I also got a chance to meet the founders and the owner. Brandi was so sweet. I also loved meeting the person who put the event together Jade from TSO events.
One of my most favorite moments of the event was when Brandi the owner had all the little girls go up to the mirror and see how beautiful they are and tell themselves they are beautiful. I thought it was such a sweet moment.
If you want to have a birthday party for your little lady here some of the things that you can expect are:
-The birthday girl will be seated in a throne under a chandelier
– All the girls will have their own tea pots that will be filled with lemonade
– A appetizer tray with appetizer choices of vegetables, pretzels, and dip
– 3 different sandwiches (peanut butter and jelly, turkey, and cheese), hot dogs, and cheese pizza will be served on a tiered tray
– The birthday girl will also receive a 9in cake with her name on it
– The guest will receive their own trays with treats that include a cupcake, gummy bears, a sour belt, mini cookies, and other little treats
All this has the makings of a excellent part for your special girl. For more information on Olivia’s Dollhouse Tearoom you can check out the following information:

Your princess is adorable! So sweet that she enjoyed the princess meet and greet as well. I have a nine year old daughter who would really enjoy this.
Thanks for sharing all the photos. We had to miss at the last minute and I really enjoyed your summary.
