I hope you all are well. I just thought I would drop in and give you all an update as to how my family and I are doing during this coronavirus lockdown. Especially since I really haven’t been posting much.
I am still working. My job is considered essential so I have been going in every day which is kind of a blessing with all things considered. My schedule has changed a bit. I’m now working mornings. This has left some things I need to adjust with my time like figuring out how to write posts for my blog. I struggled with getting a good workout in. I used to work out in the morning before everyone got up and after The Husband went to work. Switching to mornings kind of threw that off. I did get some workouts because The Husband and I have been doing our evening walks. But not doing any videos. I finally found something that worked though. We do 30 minutes every day. Sometimes longer than that. They hated it at first but now most of them ask for it. Online workout videos are a great help. Some of my friends are also following suit after I told them how easy it is to follow these instructional videos. I wonder how much these video producers make online. Speaking of online stuff, one of my friends started making real money poker online. He says it’s much more convenient than brick-and-mortar casinos (and are closed during the lockdown). Anyway, he’s making good money, and I’m happy for him.
I’ve started a new project since I’m at home in the evenings now. It’s just a little D.i.y. Project that I’ve been wanting to do for a few years now. I can’t wait to reveal it to you all. I’m so excited. Especially since my son and I are working on it together. We rarely do any Mommy and son projects together.
I have also really been enjoying more time with my family. We have started decluttering the place. I found some rewiring needs in the attic, but I’m not sure how to go about it. Maybe I should look for local residential electricians who can fix them properly. But, I am glad that we are getting time to do things together. Since we really can’t go anywhere we have been trying to fund new ways to entertain ourselves. We’ve fine old school like tossing a ball around outside. It’s been pretty fun.
I just like everyone else have also been binge watching shows on Netflix and every streaming service I can get my hands on. I even found a show that both my kids and I enjoy. It’s called The Last Kids On Earth. It’s a really good series.
Other than that everyone is my household has been doing well. Tyler is finishing up his senior online like everyone else. He really can’t wait until it’s over. I’m so proud of him. He has been such a responsible young man since all of this has started. His grades got even better once he started homeschooling. He said it’s because he could go at his own pace with no worries. That made out easier for him. But we are all ready for the school year to end. I’m a little disappointed that I won’t get to see him walk across the stage but what matters is he completed his schooling. Nishe’ is still working at her job. Over all everyone is doing great.
