I love finding out about new places where my family and I can have fun. Thanks to my nephew this happened this past weekend. Friday night he called and invited Tyler and Nishe’ to this place called Gamers Xperience . It had been a minute since he and the kids had hung out so we agreed to go. The kids were excited because, like me, they like to visit new places and have fun. We had no idea what to expect.

Saturday we met up with my nephew and his friends at Gamers Xperience. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Gamers Xperience is located in Lithonia, Ga. What is shocking is that I have been to this area many times and have never noticed this place. The owner tells me that they have been in this area for a total of 8 years. Can you believe it? This little gem has been here for 8 years and I had no clue. Now the place is fairly small but it does its job. It even has a party room. My nephew and his friends have been to this place many times before. They seem to really enjoy themselves. My kids dove right in. They were so happy to find out that they had some of the games that they have been wanting to play for a while.

Oh. I guess I better explain exactly what Gamers Xperience is. It is a place that has TVs and every game console you can think of, from PS4 to Xbox One. So, as you can imagine, this is what drew my kids in from the get-go. Even in their spare time at home, they’re always begging me to go on their game consoles. In fact, it happened just last night. They told me that they had recently read this eso guide (Elder Scrolls Online for those of you, like me, who didn’t know what it was) and wanted to put what they had learned to the test. It seemed to have worked when I checked on them as they told me that they had proceeded through the levels with a great amount of ease. So, as you can imagine, when they found that Gamers Xperience had PS4s and Xbox One and they could play as much as they wanted without experiencing any lag (see how to Fix Xbox Lag), they jumped at the chance to play the same game and any others that the facility had.

You have the option of paying $3 per hour, $10 for an all-day pass, or $15 for a two-day pass per person, and then your kids and you can play those games with no additional charge besides food. Isn’t that a great deal? Now the $15 two-day pass the owner tells me that you don’t even have to come back the next day. You can return any day you like as long as you keep your receipt. Also, I’m told the number one rule of Gamers Xperience is to have fun.

Now I tried my best to just sit and wait for my kids to finish playing. They actually chose to play for 2 hours but I couldn’t resist when I found out they had Just Dance & Hip Hop Experience. I totally embarrassed myself with my dance skills but I had so much fun. It takes me back to playing Gamecube Roms on gamulator and similar sites when I was growing up!

When we left my kids talked about wanting to go back already. So I see many visits to this place in the future. It is a very clean place and the owners are so nice. It is a great place for teenagers and preteens like my kids. There were adults like me having fun as well. When we left the place was getting full. Overall we had a great time. It was so worth the trip to see these smiles.
