Encouraging Individuality
I knew that when Tyler and Nishe' entered school that they would have challenges with keeping up with the latest style. We have never been the type of parents who bought what was in. I don't think style or wearing what's in even became a issue until they each reached about 5th grade. When I say an issue I mean when kids start noticing what they were wearing. Book Review: Kiss Of The Highlander By Karen Marie Moning
The more I read this Highlanders series written by Karen Marie Moning the more I fall in love with it. Since I started reading the first book in this series I have come to really like her writing style. She is so very talented. All her stories just seem to flow together. Privacy and Parenting
One thing I have struggled with is giving up some of my privacy as a parent and sometimes even as a spouse. I mean I have nothing to hide but at the same time I try to maintain a level of it for us all. I know it may sound totally weird but I think everyone should have something that is just theirs. Prenup or Not?
I have been watching the show The Real. In one episode they were talking about prenups and whether or not a couple should have one or not. 3 out of 5 of the hosts are married so each of them went through and said whether they had one or not. Tamar said that she and Vince didn't have one, Tamera said she and her husband had one, and Jeannie Mai said that she and her husband had one.
