Last week I did the best I’ve ever done since I started my fitness journey this year. I was really mindful of how I ate and what I ate. It was not easy but I did it. I pretty much stayed within my calorie range all week except for once. But that’s okay.
I’m still getting up early to workout. I either do some cardio or hit the treadmill I missed once but I made up for it by making sure I actually moved around at work which was easy because I work with kids. But I just really put in an extra effort. Like whenever we run the kids outside I walked laps around the playground and sometimes the kids would join me. If they had a dance party I would participate too. Also during my lunch break sometimes I would go walking. It seems my hard work paid off because when I stepped on the scale I had actually lost three pounds. I’m so excited to start seeing progress.
Seeing the scale going down has me really motivated and I can’t wait to see what the scale says next. I also know that the scale isn’t the only way to see progress. So I’m not going to let those numbers control me.
