Blog Changes

I know most notice that there are some things different about my blog. The reason is because this morning I was having trouble getting to my admin page on my blog to write a post. I came to the conclusion that because of a plugin that I installed on my WordPress wasn’t compatible it was giving me a hard time. So I set out to correct the problem and in doing so I accidentally uninstalled my entire blog from my hosting, I might have been better off using third party services such as HostiServer so my blog would have had a back-up within the cloud and I could have avoided all of this mess.

So unfortunately I am having to start over from scratch again. Which I am not very happy about. Fortunately I was able to save some of my post. This is because unfortunately I didn’t back up my data which would have saved me from having to do all this. I guess all you can do is live and learn which I definitely did. I have definitely learned my lesson. In fact I wrote a post about how I learned my lesson. It was my very first post I wrote on here. You can find this post here. I hope to never have to do this again. In the next few days I will be reposting the posts I was able to save with a mix of some new ones.

If I look at the bright side this little accident did encourage me to act on a few changes I have been thinking about. For example I have been thinking about changing my kids nicknames. Now this gives me the opportunity to do it and to write a better about page for myself. Can’t focus on the negative gotta focus on the positive. It is so hard to do though.
